“The fault, dear Brutus is not in our stars, but in our choices of the data management system”
We know that the key to our success is in thoroughly written lines of code rather than in a specific orientation of celestial bodies. Superstition is not the strongest trait of our team; neither of us suffers from friggatriskaidekaphobia. Friday, July 13, 2012 did not impede our progress and in fact it will be marked as a special day in the annals of Resultly History.
It was a long and exciting day. Resultly changed its headquarters only twelve months after the company was conceived. We left behind a leisurely paced life of a lovely Belmont-Central community with cozy homes and ethnic eateries. Leaving behind a big chunk of our history induced bittersweet feelings within our team.
We will always remember a small office where Resultly was born. A brick-wall and bathroom facilities perpetually lacking soap and paper tissue became dear to our hearts. Nonetheless, it was time to move on and time to get more serious about our desire to conquer the world. Thus we moved our operations into the hectically beating heart of Chicago downtown.
All of a sudden our lives changed. Parking estate at Chicago Loop seems to be one of the most precious commodities, so we no longer take our cars to work. Instead, we spend more relaxed time riding a train, pondering on our place in the world of information.
The new headquarters are located on the 4th floor of the Hub 116 - a quirky looking 8 story building situated off Hubbard and LaSalle. We became neighbors to a Japanese restaurant on the first floor and an open deck bar with breathtaking views on the roof. Built in 2007, the building itself is a reflection of modern achievements of the design and architecture of the 21st century. The facility offers a pleasant and inspiring work environment and our team is looking forward to spending more time in our new home.
